Dr. John A. Romano is a fully trained, experienced plastic and reconstructive surgeon. Prior to beginning his practice in Fremont, California in 1990, Dr. Romano was an assistant professor at Stanford University in the Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, training residents to become plastic surgeons. He attended Georgetown University Medical School, obtained his general surgical training at Mount Zion Hospital in San Francisco and completed his plastic surgery training at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Romano has served on numerous committees at Washington Hospital. He has recently completed his term on the Quality Steering Council, the Medical Executive Committee, and currently Chairs the Quality and Resource Management Committee. He strongly believes in continuing education and updating his practice so that he can offer the latest techniques in Plastic Surgery.
